OUR COURSES & PROGRAMMES

Lincolnshire Training Hub operate a fair selection process when administering places on any courses. This process includes the involvement of Lincolnshire system partners whilst collectively promoting the upskilling, recruitment and retention activities in Lincolnshire Primary Care. Should you have interest in any of the available courses please contact a member of the team for further information and application forms.

This application form will may be shared with our Lincolnshire system partners including Lincolnshire STP, Lincolnshire CCG, Lincolnshire LMC and Health Education England colleagues.

 

TRAINING OFFER FOR 2020/2021

Funding has been provided by Health Education England to support training in primary care. The full offer can be seen below.

MEDICAL TERMINOLOGY

We are offering a further Medical Terminology course date for non-clinical staff on Friday 7th May 1-3pm. Please return application forms to Ruth Pollock at ruth.pollock@nhs.net. Closing date Friday 23rd April.

TRAINEE NURSING ASSOCIATE PROGRAMME

We are now recruiting for the 2021 course start dates, with the course being funded by Apprentice Levy, and a training grant provided directly to the GP surgery.

Commitment:

   - 2 years part time level 4 study and practice placements 

   - Able to commit to a 37.5 hours working week plus personal study time

   - Able to travel county-wide to attend practice placements and University of Lincoln

   - Fixed holiday periods for 2 years

You need to be employed in General Practice. Minimum of GCSE English and Mathematics Grade C or equivalent.

These workshops are designed to help integrate new practitioners into General Practice and impart the skills needed for a successful career in Primary Care.
